Show season is underway! We at Auto Perfekt have been eagerly anticipating these next few months. Nicer weather, chilled evenings, and a long list of some of the biggest car, truck and bike shows in the UK. What better way to get integrated into the seasonal spirit than back-to-back car shows? First up, Cruise Irvine

Cruise Irvine is the biggest car cruise event in Scotland, and we found ourselves slap bang in the middle of it. Thousands of vans, cars, bikes and buggy’s scattered Irvine beach to celebrate the start of show season, or maybe just to show off a little. We were the proud sponsors of this monumental event. This was a great opportunity for us to get our names out there, and to show everybody that our products will deliver great results. This was the first time many of us had attended this annual event, so we were in for a surprise when we saw this vast space filled with cars from up and down the country

Our stall was up nice and early, and we were greeted to some afternoon sun as we began our preparations for the day ahead. We were stacked with every item you would need to keep your vehicle squeaky clean. Applicators, Dressings, Snow Foams, Drying Towels, Glass Cloths, Detailing brushes and everything in between. There was a good buzz at the stall, as we were surrounded by some of the finest cars, all freshly detailed by the crew at Auto Perfekt Worx. The beautiful Scottish weather had decided to do whatever it wanted. Light bursts of rain had us a little on the worried side as we went into the evening. Thankfully, the skies cleared as the event went on

As this hectic day came to a close, we packed ourselves up and headed homeward. The event may have only lasted an evening, but it was an invaluable experience for our crew. An important insight into the Scottish car scene. It was great to talk to everyone who came to visit us, and we always love talking to fellow detailers and enthusiasts. Our next mission brought us to the town of Bo’ness for the Bo’ness car show 2022. This event was an incredible experience for all of us, and has already become our favourite show this year. There was a large selection of old and new vehicles across this large and lovely estate. The show assembled a number of notable car clubs, and we even got to chat with some of them. Little did we know this show would be one of the busiest days of our lives

We set up at the end of the estate looking out at the castle. We had an amazing view of the finest cars in the country. Aston Martins and Porsches certainly make for a good backdrop. Hundreds flocked to our tent on a sunny Scottish day for our products. Queues began to form, and our stock was flying off the shelves. We had sold out of our microfibres before we had even officially opened. Our new ceramic foam continued to turn heads at the show, and has quickly become our hero product. By the end of the day, we had almost nothing left (which was a relief for those packing it up)

Our stall gave us a great opportunity to speak with fellow detailers at the show. We always ask about their preferences when it comes to products, as it provides important research for our own products. It was also a great day for the crew at Auto Perfekt Worx, who are expanding their reach across the country. The event ended with a chilled evening by the barbeque, and a well-deserved rest for the crew

The Bo’ness car show was a fantastic day out. A special thank you to Lynsey, and the Scottish Performance show for organising this event. This was one of the most coordinated shows we had attended, and we can’t wait for next year!
