The crew at Auto Perfekt attended their first official event together. The Asset Alliance Grampian Truck Show 2022. Thousands of people turned out in the welcoming Easter weather for a weekend like no other. Afternoons of cleaning, polishing and conversing. Evenings of light shows and good cheer. It truly was an experience like no other.

We left our shop at the break of dawn, and prepared ourselves for the four-hour long journey up to Inverurie. We pitched up in a prime spot, overlooking the vast number of vehicles on display. From little pink tractors to skull-laden lorries. These powerful machines scattered themselves around the park. The team set up the stall nice and early, prepared for the hectic weekend ahead. We also introduced our new products to the public. Our Tar remover, Extreme Snow Foam and our Fabric Cleaner.

We were given the privilege of detailing the Subaru that won the 1995 World Rally Championship, with the one and only rally legend Colin McRae behind the wheel. Thousands gathered in their masses to get a sight of this magnificent vehicle. Our detailing crew never left its side. Even if you didn’t see it shine, you would of definitely heard it roar!

Saturday began with truckers touring the grounds of our stall looking for the best quality products. It was an opportunity to gain an insight into the trucking lifestyle. The staff had a great time chatting to everyone that came to visit our stall. A very successful day, despite our card machine deciding to take a day off. A far from sunny Sunday saw a crowd of both young and old gather at Grampian. The weather didn’t stop us from another busy day. Our staff can certainly pack themselves on the back.

The event was wrapped up with an award ceremony spanning a wide range of categories, with everyone gathered together to celebrate a successful weekend. Our friend Shaun from Kilmarnock Removals even managed to pick up a few awards, too!

Thanks to everyone that visited our stall, and to those motorists who kept us entertained with their hefty haulers. Congratulations to Ally Shaw Snr and Ally Shaw Jnr for organising an incredible event. We can’t wait to attend the next one. We loved our first trip on the road with Auto Perfekt, but this is only the beginning. We have a long list of events planned for the rest of the year. Stay Tuned!
